About Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 is a standalone M.2 (and PCIe adapter card) Wi-Fi 6 module with Bluetooth 5. Unlike AX201 it does not depend on the chipset, so it works in Intel and AMD PCs alike. Its hardware ID is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2723, and the Bluetooth part is USB\VID_8087&PID_0029.

Install the driver

1. Download the latest driver from this page and install it, then restart.
2. The card appears as Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz under Network adapters.
3. Install the Intel Wireless Bluetooth driver for Bluetooth. On desktop PCIe cards, connect the card’s USB cable to a motherboard USB header, otherwise Bluetooth will not appear.

Troubleshooting

• Weak signal on a desktop card — attach all antennas and keep them away from the metal case.
• Adapter missing after sleep — disable power saving in the adapter properties and install the latest chipset driver.

Intel’s newest driver branches gradually drop older Wi-Fi generations; if the latest package does not list your ID, use the newest driver shown for DEV_2723 above. Linux supports AX200 with iwlwifi.
