About Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201

AX201 is a CNVi Wi-Fi 6 module used in laptops with 10th and 11th generation Intel Core processors. Part of the Wi-Fi logic sits in the Intel chipset, so the hardware ID depends on the laptop platform, not on the module itself:

• PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_02F0 — Comet Lake (10th gen, U-series)
• PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06F0 — Comet Lake (10th gen, H-series)
• PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_34F0 — Ice Lake (10th gen)
• PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A0F0 — Tiger Lake (11th gen, U/P)
• PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_43F0 — Tiger Lake-H (11th gen, H-series)
• PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4DF0 — Jasper Lake

All of them use the standard Intel wireless driver package listed above.

Install and troubleshoot

1. Install the latest driver and restart. The adapter appears as Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz under Network adapters.
2. If Wi-Fi is missing entirely after a clean Windows install, install the Intel chipset driver first — CNVi modules depend on it.
3. For Bluetooth install the Intel Wireless Bluetooth driver (AX201 Bluetooth is USB\VID_8087&PID_0026).

An AX201 module cannot be moved into a laptop or desktop without CNVi support — it will not be detected there. Linux supports it with iwlwifi.
